Pond and Pondless Opening
Your pond, pondless or fountainscape opening (cleaning) in the spring is important maintenance for your water feature. The previous season and the winter have left organic waste that accumulated in the bottom of your pond or pondless basin. We drain the water feature, flush the water, pressure wash the rocks/filter media, vacuum, rinse and repeat as necessary. If you have fish, we will place them in an aerated water tank while we clean the pond. We will begin to fill the pond once we are done cleaning, add pond detoxifier and then add the fish after they are acclimated. We finish by adding beneficial bacteria. Please note, we do not stay for the entire water feature to fill, but we will set an auto filler if there is one.
